A Therapist Who Understands the Unique Challenges of First Responders and Healthcare Workers

About me

I know how deeply relationships shape our lives. I’ve been there—feeling the weight of stress and anxiety, navigating parent-child tension, juggling peer and romantic relationships, and facing the exhaustion of burnout. I’ve also stood on the frontlines of Colorado’s mental health crisis as a healthcare worker, witnessing the toll that high-stress environments take on individuals and families. When everything felt like it was falling apart, it was the connection with others who truly understood that pulled me through. I want to be that for you.

I work with people who feel like their “balance” is off—whether you’re overwhelmed, disconnected, or just tired of feeling stuck. My heart is in helping first responders, first responder spouses, healthcare workers, and their families navigate the unique stressors they face. High-stress careers create ripples in every part of life, leading to anxiety, isolation, and frustration that can feel impossible to escape.

But if you’ve found me and you’re not in a healthcare-related field, that’s okay. One thing I’ve learned is that so many of the struggles we face as humans are universal. Whether you’re a first responder, a parent, a partner, or someone simply trying to make sense of life’s challenges, you deserve support that meets you where you are.

Sometimes, I’m in the trenches too. I know the effort and strength it takes to find your footing again, and I’ve seen how connection—whether with others or with yourself—can help you regain balance and move forward. Together, we’ll explore what’s weighing you down and create a path toward the life and relationships you want.

You don’t have to do this alone. I’m here to help.

Outside of Therapy

I’m an avid runner—it keeps me grounded and motivated, even if my legs don’t always appreciate it! While I’m a proud cat mom, I’m also a big dog lover (and I’m currently on the lookout to adopt one). You’ll often catch me juggling multiple books because I can never stick to just one. Baking is another passion of mine—I love experimenting with new recipes to satisfy my sweet tooth, even if it doesn’t always turn out Instagram-worthy.

Since moving from Ohio for graduate school, I’ve fallen for all the adventures Colorado has to offer—except for the winter sports! I’m happiest when I’m exploring new hiking trails and soaking in the beauty of the outdoors.

My Approach

I believe in a personalized approach to mental health that recognizes you as a whole person—not just your struggles. Together, we’ll explore the unique dynamics within yourself, your relationships, and your family. Using a systemic lens, I draw primarily from Bowen Family Systems Theory and Internal Family Systems to help you understand how these interactions shape your life. From there, I integrate other evidence-based therapeutic approaches to ensure our work is tailored to your specific needs and goals.

When you walk into our sessions, my goal is to meet you exactly where you are—with empathy, understanding, and without judgment. Your journey is yours, and I’m here to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

Whether you’re navigating relational challenges, personal struggles, or looking to find balance and well-being, we’ll work together to build resilience, foster growth, and create meaningful change. You don’t have to do this alone—I’m here to help you thrive.
